Echoes of Becoming

Artist Statement:

Every wave leaves behind a temporary record. As the tide advances and recedes, it shifts countless grains of sand into intricate formations that exist for only a moment before they are erased and rewritten. As I stand within that continual exchange, I become aware not only of that movement beneath my feet, but also of the movement within myself. A quiet rhythm of energy flowing outward and returning again and again. These works begin with photographs of sand; however, they are less about the beach than about the unseen patterns that connect us to something much larger. Through repetition the fleeting textures transform into forms that resemble landscapes viewed from above, sacred geometries, cellular structures, or maps of an unseen universe. Those formations suggest that the same forces shaping coastlines may also shape our inner lives and perhaps even dimensions beyond our perception. For me, the tide is a metaphor for creation itself. Creation is never static. It radiates outward, returns, shifts, and begins again. I hope these images invite viewers to pause within that cycle and consider how every step, every thought, and every interaction becomes part of a larger reverberation extending far beyond what we can see.
